The Company is looking for a number of entry-to-mid-level backend developers for a permanent full-time role based in the bayside suburbs of Melbourne, Australia.
The company was established in 2011 and provides wholesale Fibre to the Premise (FTTP) access service to retail telecommunications service providers. You will work in a dynamic team following Agile principles in developing software solutions for the company.
Some of your key duties will include:
Web development for high-volume transactional websites and online systems, including content management and e-commerce systems
Management of web development Security, Performance, Accessibility and Responsive design
Manage version control (e.g. Git) and development task management
Manage continuous integration platforms (such as JIRA, Azure DevOps)
Breakdown and estimate complex technical features into manageable development tasks
Interpret client briefs to produce well-tested and complete software products
Utilising Agile ceremonies and practices, lead planning, design and estimation sessions
Work with Product Owners and Technical Product Owners to develop business and technology roadmaps
You are expected to have:
Experience with web application development
Experience with Laravel/PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript
Experience with test procedures and tools, e.g. PHPUnit
Familiar with MYSQL
Familiar with API development
Experience with docker/docker-compose
Familiar with GIT, Linux, BASH
Experience in the agile development procedure
Good to have experience on AWS or other Clouse services
Good to have experience in one or more UI frameworks for VueJs
